Obituary
Shirley Louise Slaugh, 84, of Carmel, passed away May 9, 2023. She was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to the late Harry and Margaret Davis on September 1, 1938. After graduating high school, Shirley went to work as an office manager for an insurance company. Her greatest joy was her family. She was a member of the Twin Lakes Golf Club since 1979 and enjoyed playing golf with her friends.
Shirley is survived by her children, Robert Walter Slaugh, Sharon Irene (Timothy) Slaugh, Michelle Ann (Joseph) Johnson, and Christine Ann (Timothy) Slaugh Dobben; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and her sister, Jean (John) Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Walter Slaugh; and daughter-in-law, Shelley Natkow.
A celebration of life will be held on June 17 at 4:00 pm at Twin Lakes, 3200 West 96th Street, Carmel, IN 46032 with a dinner following. If you are planning to stay for the meal, please RSVP to JohnsonFamilyof8@bellsouth.net.
