Pushpa Sidhu

Mrs. Pushpa Sidhu, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away May 9, 2023. She was born in Calcutta, India on December 8, 1938 to Kundan Lal and Shakuntala Duggal. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in arts. She made Wanamaker her home since 1970. Pushpaji’s greatest joy was nurturing her family and friends. She spread joy and love to all she met, with her Indian delicacies.  Gifted with abundant energy, she was fond of tending to her kitchen, garden and playing cards with friends.   

She will be remembered by all in the community as a loving hostess par excellence. 

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Hitwant Sidhu; and children, Dr. Rachna (Umesh) Choudhry and Dr. Rashmi (Robert) Recinto. Grand Children Vishesh and Veer Choudhry, Shivani and Krishan Recinto.

Services will be held at Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Road, Zionsville, on Saturday, May 13th 11:00am to 1:00pm. To view the livestream, click here.

A celebration of life for Pushpa will be held at Woodlands Clubhouse, 10700 Lakeshore Drive East, Carmel, IN 46033 following the cremation.
