Obituary
Leonard Wilbur Wood, 89, life resident of Indiana died on November 21, 2022. He was born in Indianapolis on December 27, 1932 to Lewis and Myrtle Wood.
He proudly served the United States in the Army during the Korean War. Leonard loved gardening, photography and most importantly spending time with his family.
Surviving are his daughters, Teresa C. Wood McPeak and Terre E. Wood Ecktman; grandchildren, Zachary McPeak, Natoshia (Andrew Hodges) Beranek, Cierra (Trent) Richardson, Rachael (Eric Clayborn) Ecktman and Michelle Frye; and great-grandchildren, Aiden, Troy, Weston, Tanner, Carson and Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn P. Lyons Wood.
Graveside funeral services and military honors will be at 11:00 am on Friday, November 25, 2022 in Lincoln Memory Gardens, 6851 South Indianapolis Road, Whitestown, IN 46075.
